After nearly 14 years, Jujuba Software is back. Back in 2012, our Elements Weather Forecast was selected as one of the eight apps to launch with Microsoft Windows 8 Consumer Preview. There were only two of us building these apps back then.

A lot has changed since. Many of the Windows apps we released afterward are no longer in the Windows App Store. Though we have remained good friends, my business partner and I are pursuing different paths now. After working on various projects at several companies, I’ve decided to bring Jujuba Software back to life. Although I’ll probably revive some of the previously published Windows Store apps, they are not going to be the main focus going forward.

Miraculously, some of the apps have remained in the Store and kept working through all those Windows releases. Microsoft has always taken backward compatibility seriously, and it looks like they still do!

I’m working on several projects that I’ll gradually share here. I’ll also write about interesting things I discover in the course of my work. Stay tuned!
